Shrouded

Shrouded explore ideas of time and place through nature’s mark making. In this series, I bury raw metal forms in the earth for prolong periods before retrieving them. The objects emerge with colours and textures which are distinctive to the exact location they were buried. Mud, water, minerals and capitulated air, plus time do their work on the surfaces, creating polychromatic patinas.
