Shrouded
Shrouded explore ideas of time and place through nature’s mark making. In this series, I bury raw metal forms in the earth for several months before retrieving them. The objects emerge with colours and textures which are distinct to the exact location they were buried. Mud, water, minerals and capitulated air do their work on the surfaces, creating polychromatic patinas.
